APP SMASH tellagami and Green screen!!!
Let your students tell you about themselves from their hometown:
1.Students will fill out the rubric below with their personal information.
2. Then the students will go to the Tellagami app and create their customized avatars.
3. Next choose a monochromed option in Tellagami to put the student on a green background.
4. After that, the students will record themselves reading their about me presentations.
5. Save the video to your camera roll.
6. Go to google images and search for their home city or country.
7. Have the student select a picture they like or that represents where they're from.
8. Save this image to your camera roll.
9. Open the Green Screen by Do Ink app.
10. Insert the saved video on the middle layer and the saved picture on the bottom layer.
11. (Optional) Cut the Tellagami advertisement off the back of the video.
12. Export this final video to your camera roll
13. (Optional) Upload this video from your camera roll to your YouTube channel.
Pro: These videos are so creative and really connect you to the students' lives prior to moving to the US, opening further discussion to the students interests and backgrounds
Con: It takes several steps to create this project, but once you get the hang of it, you can make them faster. Also, Tellagami only allows you to record for 30 seconds, so you are limited on the amount of content you can add,
