Green Screening is one of the best ways to bring your students' writings alive. In our ESL classes, I use a google form to collect data about the students' interests. From there, I create various graphic organizers that help the students record their research and break the writing process in pieces. Using anchor charts and mini-lessons, the students write, revise, and publish pieces that include details, organization, and content-specific vocabulary. You can find some sample graphic organizers under the lessons/literacy tab. Some examples of published pieces are shown below.
